What is the character and feature of Belt Conveyor Buffer Bed?

Buffer Bed is mainly used for vibration damping protection of conveyor belt at material discharging point. When the material fall down, buffer bed uses its own elasticity to minimize the impact force when material falls down on the belt to ensure normal operation of belt conveyor. In addition, the buffer strip of bed surface consist of five million ultra high molecular polyethylene plates,which contacts the belt surface well to reduce the friction coefficient to the minimum.Here PK Machinery introduce the main characters and features of belt conveyor buffer bed.  
Main characters of belt conveyor buffer bed
1.The smooth UHMW PE surface reduces friction coefficient of conveyor belt and impact strip to minimum.Thick polyethylene layer is more widely used and durable.
2.The front and back of polyethylene surface form into a curved surface, thus ensuring the smooth passing by of the conveyor belt.
3. The excellent performance of the special rubber layer can effectively absorb the momentum when material falling down.
4. Each part of buffer strip is combined with hot vulcanization, compact and firm.

Why should we select bin above the conveying and screening equipment

No matter vibrating screen or belt conveyor, once they work with other corollary equipment, the joint parts are pretty crucial, the common one is hopper, it is not only because it can store material, but also can reduce the impact to screen mesh when feeding material, and increase the service life. In order to control the feeding rate of hopper uniformly, a electric or a manual gate valve can be added at the bottom of hopper, or a silo vibrator (we call it vibration hopper) to feed the material more uniform or vibratory feeder machine.
For example, one of our customers want a tilt screw conveyor, due to the small capacity, it needs to feed material to conveyor directly, we recommend placing a hopper on the screw conveyor in the purpose of storing material in order to ensure continuous working of screw conveyor and transmission efficiency of the screw conveyor.
During the use of conveying equipment, in order to improve the production efficiency of the conveying and screening equipment), it is necessary to put a hopper above the equipment. This will reduce the worker's labor intensity, the number of workers, the cost production line.

The belt width and length can be custom-made according to different requirements. However, we usually need to disassemble the mobile belt conveyor during transportation as the packaging volume is larger. Customer will assemble the mobile belt conveyor in local when they receive it. However, the steel wire rope and conveyor belt installation direction is very important in the whole assembly process. Proper installation direction of the steel wire rope and conveyor belt will affect the lifting and running ability directly, in order to show the installation direction clearly, the following drawing drawn by our engineer is for your reference specially:

The Selection of Corrugated Sidewall Conveyor Belt

Corrugated sidewall belt is used for pulling and carrying purposes for corrugated sidewall conveyor. It consists of a baseband, corrugated sidewall and baffle. The corrugated sidewall connects with both sides of baseband while the baffle connects with both side of corrugated wall accordingly to a certain space.
1. Baseband 
The baseband appearance of corrugated sidewall belt is the same with ordinary belt ,but its lateral stiffness is greater than ordinary belt. Usually corrugated sidewall belt adopts special belt as its baseband, the tensile materials (core layer) can be divided into four kinds: cotton canvas, nylon canvas, polyester canvas and steel wire.
2. Corrugated sidewall
This series of products using S-type of corrugated sidewall.
3. Baffle
a) This series of product is recommended to use type T, type TS (B), type TC, type TCS (B) and type C baffles.
b) Type T and type TS (B) baffles are only suitable for conveyor angle β≤40 ° while type TC and type TCS (B) and type C of baffles are suitable for conveyors with any transmission angle.
c) Type C baffle is suitable for conveying viscous materials. On the other hand, if the conveying angle and material density are greater, then type TCS (b) baffle should be used.
d) The spacing between baffles is integral multiple of waveform of the corrugated sidewall. The spacing between baffles (TS) and height (H) are related to conveying angle β.  

Three Horizontal Sections of Large Angle Belt Conveyor

Large angle belt conveyor is suitable for the unit mass of 500 ~ 2500 kg/ m3 and the material large size of about 100 ~ 250 mm, the features of large angle belt conveyor are: simple structure, convenient maintenance, space saving and investment saving. Here PK Machinery will explain and introduce three kinds of horizontal section:

1. Upper horizontal section

In order to adapt to the requirement of different discharge height, the head frame is divided into low type frame (head frame height = 1000 mm), middle type head frame (head frame height = 1100 ~ 1100 mm) and high type head frame (head frame height = 1600 ~ 1600 mm).

Correspondingly, low type convex segment arc frame and low type middle frame support (matched head height = 1000 mm), middle type convex segment frame and middle type frame support (matched head frame height = 1100 ~ 1500 mm), high type convex segment frame and high type middle frame support (matched head frame height = 1600 ~ 1600 mm) will match with upper horizontal section respectively

2. Lower horizontal section

The lower horizontal section adopts low type middle frame support.

3. Inclined section

The inclined section of large angle belt conveyor adopts low type middle frame support. When the conveyor inclined angle β ≧ 45 °, we suggest adopting Ⅱseries low type middle support.

The connection of upper horizontal section and inclined adopts the convex arc segments frame , and the lower horizontal section and inclined section adopt concave segmental arc frame to connect so as to realize the smooth conveyor belt transition.
